The Fundamental Principle is the core tenet that successful people have applied in order to reach their goals. It doesn’t matter whether they are in business, public services, teaching, health or whatever profession, vocation or lifestyle. This is the golden rule that, if applied correctly, brings reward after reward and a deeper connection and fulfilment.
Like any new skill you wish to learn, you have to work at it.
However, if you grasp the mechanics of “learning how to learn” then it becomes a lot easier.
The good news is that you don’t need to go to university or sit a three-year diploma. However, you must be open-minded and willing to learn. By having the correct attitude you will immediately bring about benefits to your life.
Some of the most successful entrepreneurs didn’t have a single qualification when they left school. However, they went on to create massive corporations. What is it that makes them different from everybody else? It is that they follow the Fundamental Principle.
So the first step on your positive path is that you must live by the Fundamental Principle. If you are not doing so already, then make growth in the various types of intelligence your core goal in life.
We will keep on referring back to this principle and you will see how it brings about a clarity and simplicity to issues and challenges that are sometimes riddled with complexity and confusion.
What
is happiness?
Happiness is definitely not
some permanent state of joy or bliss. This simply is not realistic when we are
made up of an emotional life that oscillates between likes and dislikes,
pleasure and pain and the whole spectrum of feelings.
Therefore, it is crucial to
have an accurate view of the human being.
The human is made up of:
- Physical body and the senses
- Emotions
- Memories
- Will Power
- Thoughts, Ideas and Thinking
Desires are fundamental to our
being and they can drive us to do great things. They can also us drive us
crazy!
Here is a clue.
When we can bring about a balance
between the desires we have and how many we can fulfil then we get into some
sort of harmony.
This feeling a harmony is a
deeper sense of fulfilment. This is our working definition
of happiness.
So be realistic in your
desires! Don’t pile up too many dreams!
Try to progress through your
goals at a steady pace and see the sense of harmony come from within you.
See how everything relates to
the Fundamental Principle? This principle is working within us (even subconsciously)
creating fundamental desires for growth, learning and knowledge. These desires
need to be fulfilled to bring about a balance and harmony.
If we don’t listen and respond
to the desires and their calling, then we risk becoming frustrated, bored and
unhappy.
